This year’s theme, “Gardenscapes as seen through the eyes of our youth,” recognizes the efforts of the sculpture students from the metal trades class at the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership. The items will be auctioned off on June 2, benefiting the Clara Barton Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Held at the library, the book sale starts Monday and runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day through Friday, then noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The carnival opens in Babcock Park at 6 p.m. Thursday and runs Friday and Saturday.

33rd annual craft show and flea market will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Church Park, located off Clara Barton Street.
DAHS booth will be offering free samples of goodies from the Rush Bottom cook books
The newest collectable (D&M Depot) will be available at the DAHS booth in the park and at the museum (open 10:00 – 4:00).
A 5k held by the American Legion Post 87 is scheduled for 9 a.m., starting at 34 Elizabeth St.
The parade starts at 5 p.m from South Main Street.
